## Job description

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing laboratory testing, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality assurance following established protocols. Key Responsibilities Accurately conduct patient, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency testing, adhering to departmental standards. Analyze, investigate, interpret, and report laboratory data, recognizing clinical significance. Maintain instrumentation and documentation, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Monitor test processes, document investigations, and communicate findings effectively within the team. Participate in performance improvement initiatives, inspection readiness, and testing method development. Stay current with training, policies, procedures, and industry regulations. Assist in operational and quality improvement activities, contributing to cost-efficient, high-quality lab services. Perform other duties as assigned, ensuring adherence to organizational standards and code of conduct. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, General Science, or equivalent (Master’s preferred). Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire. Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred. Proficiency with computers, data entry, and familiarity with LIS, Epic, 3M systems preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare team members.
