## Job description

Role: Performs clinical laboratory testing under supervision, ensuring accurate results, maintaining equipment, and documenting processes. May supervise and teach laboratory staff. Responsibilities Maintain accuracy in patient testing, quality assurance, proficiency, and competency assessments. Analyze, interpret, and report laboratory data using clinical knowledge. Document investigations and resolve issues following department protocols. Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and inspection readiness. Ensure compliance with safety standards, policies, and regulatory requirements. Maintain current training, education, and practice in laboratory procedures. Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and document all activities accurately. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; Master’s preferred. Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire. Minimum of 1 year laboratory experience preferred. Proficiency in computer data entry, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with LIS systems; Epic and 3M experience preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
