Key Responsibilities Conducts routine and specialized tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank, and microbiology following established protocols. Maintains equipment, logs, and quality control activities, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Acts as a resource and trainer for staff, resolving technical issues and overseeing procedures in the absence of supervisors. Performs maintenance, updates manuals, manages inventories, and supports laboratory accreditation readiness. Participates in blood bank duties, including processing blood products and performing STAT testing as needed. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Health Science, or related field; Master's preferred. Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required. Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist. Proficient in computer data entry, and familiar with software like Excel and Word; Epic experience preferred. Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
