Maintains equipment, records, and participates in quality assurance activities. May supervise and teach laboratory staff. Key Responsibilities Ensure accurate patient and quality assurance testing, documenting investigations and interpreting data effectively. Report lab results timely, recognizing clinical implications and maintaining instrument functionality. Monitor information flow, investigate issues, and communicate effectively with team members. Contribute to performance improvements, inspection readiness, and cost-efficient practices. Maintain current knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory standards; participate in meetings and educational activities. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Medical Science; Master's preferred. Certifications such as MT(ASCP) or equivalent required upon hire. At least one year of laboratory experience preferred. Proficiency in computer/data entry, MS Office, and familiarity with LIS systems; experience with Epic and 3M is a plus.
