Maintains equipment, records, and participates in quality assurance activities, with potential supervisory and teaching responsibilities within the laboratory setting. Key Responsibilities Ensure precise patient and specimen identification, accurate test reporting, and documentation of QA investigations. Maintain instrumentation and interpret lab data accurately within turnaround times. Analyze, investigate, and report laboratory results, correlating findings with clinical expectations. Monitor and document testing processes, ensuring compliance with procedures and standards. Contribute to performance improvement initiatives and inspection readiness, assisting with method validation and procedure updates. Stay current with training, policies, and regulatory compliance, participating in meetings and educational activities. Adhere to safety standards and uphold department policies and codes of conduct. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Medical Science; Master’s preferred. Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire. At least 1 year of laboratory experience preferred. Proficiency in computer/data entry, with skills in Excel, Word, and basic computer operations; experience with Epic and 3M is a plus.
