## Job description

🔥 **Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer**

**Elinext** is an international software development company with 25+ years of experience delivering custom software solutions and providing dedicated engineering teams for clients worldwide. We work across Fintech, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Retail, Enterprise Software, Cloud, AI/ML, and other domains.

We are currently looking for an experienced **Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer** for a project with a mid-sized company in the IT and infrastructure sector.
The client’s central ERP/CRM system is based on **Business Central 14** and serves as the main source of company data. Their existing customer portal is being replaced by a modern **Next.js-based solution**, and the main goal of this role is to build reliable REST interfaces between NAV/BC, the new portal, and process automation systems.

This is a **hands-on development role** focused on API and integration work.

Responsibilities
— Develop REST endpoints in Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central
— Build integrations for the new customer portal and process automation system
— Implement error handling and retry mechanisms
— Maintain API specifications using OpenAPI
— Coordinate API contracts with the frontend team
— Secure access through middleware and technical user accounts
— Test, troubleshoot, and document interfaces
— Support stable and reliable data exchange between NAV/BC and external systems

MUST HAVE
— Several years of development experience with **Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central**
— Strong hands-on experience with **REST API development in NAV / BC**
— Experience integrating NAV / BC with external frontends or third-party systems
— Good understanding of API design and system integrations
— Experience with error handling, retry logic, and secure access
— Ability to work independently and deliver production-ready solutions
— Pragmatic and delivery-oriented development approach
— English B1+
— German B1+

Nice to Have
— Experience with **Business Central cloud migration**
— Experience working with modern frontend teams
— OpenAPI / Swagger knowledge
— Experience with middleware-based security
— Previous work with enterprise ERP / CRM systems
