## Job description

🚀 **We’re hiring: Middle Java Developer**

Peratera is a UK-based, FCA-authorised fintech building a modern global payments platform for businesses.
We’re looking for a **Middle Java Developer** to join our engineering team and work on the core services behind payments, transaction processing, reconciliation and wallet infrastructure.

**What you’ll work with:**
• Java 17+ & Spring Boot
• AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab CI/CD
• PostgreSQL & event-driven architecture
• REST APIs & messaging systems
• Camunda
• Open Banking and payment integrations
• Observability with OpenSearch, Prometheus & OpenTelemetry

**What we’re looking for:**
• 3+ years of commercial Java experience
• Strong Spring Boot and backend development skills
• Experience with distributed systems and scalable services
• Experience with payments, banking, wallets or fintech
• Good REST API and messaging experience
• Comfortable working in a distributed international team

🌍 **Remote | Full-time | Global**
You’ll work on a real fintech platform at production scale, with modern cloud-native technologies and the opportunity to contribute to technical decisions.
