Blue Elephant Café is looking for an energetic, responsible, and customer-oriented Waiter / Waitress to join our team in the center of Batumi. Position Information Position: Waiter / Waitress Company: Blue Elephant Café Location: Batumi, Europe Square, 8 Nodar Dumbadze Street Salary: 1,000 GEL + Tips Employment: Full-time Working Schedule October – May Working hours: 09:00–18:00 Schedule: 5 working days / 2 days off Summer Season – June, July, August & September Working hours: 09:00–21:00 Schedule: 2 working days / 2 days off About the Job Blue Elephant Café mainly operates in the breakfast and brunch segment. Our busiest period is generally from approximately 11:00 until 15:00–16:00 We are looking for a waiter/waitress who can provide friendly, attentive, and professional service while working efficiently during busy hours. The ideal candidate should be comfortable communicating with both local and international guests and should work well as part of a team. Main Responsibilities Welcoming guests in a friendly and professional manner Presenting the menu and providing information about food and beverages Taking customer orders accurately Serving food, coffee, cocktails, and other beverages Communicating orders correctly with the kitchen and bar Checking tables and ensuring guests receive attentive service Preparing tables before and after service Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the guest area Processing bills and payments correctly Handling guest requests and basic complaints professionally Following hygiene and service standards Cooperating with the kitchen, bar, and management team Candidate Requirements Previous waiter/waitress experience is preferred Good communication and customer-service skills Friendly, positive, and professional attitude Responsible and punctual Ability to work efficiently during busy service hours Good teamwork skills Basic knowledge of food, coffee, and beverages Ability to learn the café menu quickly Knowledge of English, Russian, and/or Georgian will be considered an advantage Neat and professional appearance Trial / Test Days Selected candidates may be invited for 1–2 paid trial working days. During the trial period, we will evaluate communication with guests, service quality, speed, knowledge of the menu, teamwork, and general work performance. Trial working days are paid.
