Performs a variety of technical procedures, including patient positioning, equipment setup, and image acquisition, adhering to department protocols and safety standards. Key Responsibilities Obtains comprehensive patient histories, assesses contraindications, and ensures proper identification. Prepares patients and equipment, administers contrast media following safety procedures, and maintains sterile techniques. Reviews images for quality, responds to emergencies, and communicates effectively with patients and staff using clear explanations. Operates imaging equipment, troubleshoots malfunctions, and maintains cleanliness and safety of the work environment. Documents procedures accurately, manages workload efficiently, and supports department operations including patient transport and supply management. Participates in training, quality control, and adheres to regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Certification as ARMRIT, ARRT-MR, or equivalent, and BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience, preferably in MRI. Excellent communication, customer service, multitasking, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in MRI procedures, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols.
