## Job description

Role Overview: The MRI Technologist performs a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring safe and high-quality patient care. They independently operate imaging equipment, prepare patients, and follow established protocols to produce clinically acceptable images. The role involves patient assessment, contrast administration, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety standards. Key Responsibilities Obtain comprehensive clinical histories and assess patient conditions. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and privacy. Follow safety procedures for contrast media administration and patient protection. Operate MRI equipment, adjust techniques for optimal image quality, and troubleshoot malfunctions. Ensure proper identification, documentation, and quality control of images and studies. Assist in patient transport, support, and clerical tasks to maintain workflow. Participate in training, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and contribute to a safe environment. Qualifications & Skills Accredited program completion in Radiologic Technology. Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT-MR, BLS required upon hire. Minimum one year of clinical experience, preferably in MRI. Excellent communication, customer service, and the ability to work under pressure. Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and knowledge of anatomy and pathology. Additional Requirements: Ability to work flexible hours, demonstrate independence and teamwork, and adhere to hospital policies and safety standards.
