The technologist prepares and positions patients, operates imaging equipment, and ensures image quality while maintaining patient dignity and safety. Responsibilities: Obtain comprehensive clinical histories and assess patient conditions. Follow procedures for contrast media administration and ensure proper patient identification. Review images for accuracy, respond to emergencies, and assist colleagues across modalities. Prepare patients and equipment for procedures, ensuring sterile techniques and safety standards. Explain procedures to patients, address concerns, and ensure comfort and cooperation. Maintain equipment, perform quality control, and ensure images are transmitted promptly. Support department operations, including restocking supplies, transporting patients, and performing clerical tasks. Follow all policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Skills: Accredited radiologic technology education. ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification and BLS certification required. Minimum one year clinical experience, preferably in MRI. Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills.
