## Job description

Role Overview: This position involves providing safe, age-appropriate diagnostic imaging services, performing a variety of technical procedures with independent judgment, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The technologist sets up equipment, positions patients, and follows established protocols to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment. Key Responsibilities Obtain comprehensive clinical histories and assess contraindications Properly administer contrast media, ensuring patient safety Identify patients accurately and review images for quality Respond to emergencies and assist with procedures, including biopsies Maintain equipment, ensure sterilization, and troubleshoot malfunctions Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Prepare patients and equipment, administer contrast, and verify orders Operate imaging equipment, maintain safety standards, and document procedures Transport, position, and support patients during scans Participate in training, quality control, and support departmental operations Qualifications & Skills Accredited Radiologic Technology program completion ARMRIT or ARRT-MR certification and BLS certification required Minimum one year clinical experience, preferably in MRI Strong communication, customer service, and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and under pressure Knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, pathology, and safety protocols Additional Details: The role offers competitive hourly pay, shift differentials, and benefits such as PTO, mental health support, wellness amenities, and funded education programs.
