Night Warehouse Lead
Job description
Manage overnight / night operations of the warehouse, including returns, receiving, put away, transfers, restock, freight, parcels, and conversion. Lead night warehouse team to deliver unparalleled customer service. Maintain high levels of accuracy in overnight / night operations. Support Night Manager Responsible for associate development through training on policy & procedures. Creates a cohesive organization by keeping lines of communication open and directs workforce to insure efficient workflow. Perform general physical activities load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment. Perform tasks in multi-temperature environments. Select merchandise for shipment and stack on pallet neatly by using a pallet jack or forklift. Use a pick sheet to find out individual items inside warehouse. Breakdown and restack merchandise from pallets. Verify quantity of the products. Ensure items pick accurately and safely to prevent damage. Keep warehouse tidy by picking up scrap wood, paper, plastic wrappers, and broken pallets. Maintaining a food-safe environment. Report any damaged equipment to shift supervisor or maintenance staff. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Fresh Produce experience preferred Overnight Shift (Required) 5:00PM until Finish Must be able to work effectively with other employees, and other departments within the company. Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, and reach. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must be able to work in 35 to 70-degree temperatures. Prior experience working in the food industry.
