## Job description

Role Overview: An occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to restore or enhance patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum, focusing on quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Develop personalized care plans with patient and/or family input, providing education and discharge instructions. Implement and adjust therapy activities to meet patient goals, documenting evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational efforts per departmental standards. Maintain professionalism by adhering to ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, dress code, and effective communication. Participate in staff meetings, training, and process improvements, utilizing resources safely and efficiently. Promote excellent customer service, applying AIDET principles, fostering teamwork, and ensuring a positive environment. Engage in ongoing professional development, completing mandatory education, competencies, and licensure requirements. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program; Bachelor's or Master's degree required. Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification required. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
