## Job description

Role Overview: The occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to restore or enhance patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, set goals, and create discharge strategies involving patients and families. Care Planning & Delivery: Implement treatment plans, select appropriate activities, modify goals as needed, and provide education, follow-up, and referrals. Documentation: Record evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge instructions according to departmental protocols. Professional Conduct: Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, punctuality, and dress code, and communicate effectively within the team. Customer Service & Teamwork: Deliver respectful, compassionate care, foster a positive environment, and apply service recovery principles. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training, complete required competencies, and participate in orientation and educational activities. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy. Licenses and certifications: Occupational Therapist license and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
