## Job description

Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum, adhering to quality, cost, and regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Develop personalized care plans with patient and family input, including education, training, and follow-up care. Implement therapy interventions, selecting appropriate activities, and revising plans as needed. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, discharge summaries, and family education in accordance with departmental protocols. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical practices, and demonstrate cultural competence. Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and organize workload efficiently. Utilize resources safely and cost-effectively, observing infection control protocols. Customer Service & Professional Development Provide compassionate patient interactions applying AIDET principles, fostering a positive environment. Support team collaboration, respect, and trust among colleagues and patients. Participate in ongoing education, mandatory training, and competency assessments. Engage in orientation, training of new staff, and maintain licensure and certifications. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program; Bachelor's or Master's Degree required. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, team player, and basic computer skills.
