## Job description

Role Overview: An occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognitive functions, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Develop personalized care plans with patient and family input, implementing appropriate therapeutic activities. Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals to community resources. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and education according to departmental standards. Adhere to ethical practices, maintain confidentiality, and promote diversity and teamwork. Communicate effectively, participate in staff activities, and utilize resources safely and efficiently. Engage in professional development, complete required training, and assist in onboarding new staff. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program; Bachelor's or Master's degree required. Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification required upon hire. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
