## Job description

Role: Occupational Therapist responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum with a focus on quality, cost-efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Key Duties Collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Implement therapy interventions, select appropriate activities, and adjust plans based on patient progress and input. Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and community resource referrals. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and educational activities per departmental standards. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to ethical standards, and demonstrate professionalism. Participate in staff meetings, training, and process improvement activities. Promote a positive patient experience using customer service principles, including AIDET. Support professional development through ongoing education, mandatory training, and licensure maintenance. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
