Key Duties Evaluate patients collaboratively with physicians, establishing treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Design and adjust therapy interventions, selecting appropriate activities to meet patient goals. Educate patients and families, providing discharge instructions and community resource referrals. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and patient education per departmental protocols. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, and confidentiality. Participate in staff meetings, training, and professional development to ensure ongoing competency. Promote excellent customer service using AIDET principles, fostering teamwork and a positive environment. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree). Licensure as an Occupational Therapist, BLS certification, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance. Effective communication, customer service focus, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
