Services are provided across the continuum of care, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies, incorporating patient and family input. Treatment Planning & Care: Implement therapy plans, select appropriate activities, adjust goals as needed, and provide patient/family education and discharge instructions. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, treatment sessions, family education, and discharge information following departmental protocols. Professional Conduct: Uphold ethical standards, maintain confidentiality, demonstrate effective communication, and participate in team activities and meetings. Customer Service & Teamwork: Apply AIDET principles, foster a positive environment, and support collaborative care. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing education, complete required competencies, and participate in training and orientation. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program, or hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Licenses and certifications including OT licensure, BLS, Georgia Driver's License, and private vehicle insurance. Effective communication skills, customer service orientation, team collaboration, and basic computer proficiency. Valid driver's license and ability to operate own vehicle for patient and facility travel.
