## Job description

Role Overview: An Occupational Therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily functioning, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. They provide care across the full spectrum of services, ensuring quality, cost-effective, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities Treatment Planning and Care: Develops and adjusts therapy plans with patient and family input, delivers treatment activities, provides education, discharge instructions, and referrals. Patient Assessment: Collaborates with physicians to evaluate and establish treatment goals, plans, and discharge strategies, documenting evaluations and interventions accordingly. Professional and Ethical Conduct: Maintains confidentiality, adheres to ethical standards, communicates effectively, and participates in training, meetings, and process improvements. Customer Service: Applies patient-focused communication principles, fosters teamwork, and promotes a positive environment, ensuring respectful interactions. Professional Development: Completes ongoing education, mandatory training, and licensure requirements; participates in orientation and training of new staff. Qualifications Masters or Bachelors in Occupational Therapy Licensure as an Occupational Therapist Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills This role emphasizes compassionate patient care, teamwork, regulatory compliance, and continuous professional growth to support patients' rehabilitation and well-being.
