## Job description

Role Overview: An occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognition, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Services are delivered across the continuum in a cost-effective, quality-focused, customer-oriented manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Treatment Planning: Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with patient and family input, provides education, discharge instructions, and referrals. Patient Assessment: Collaborates with physicians to evaluate and establish treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans; documents evaluations and treatment sessions. Patient Care: Develops and adjusts individualized plans of care, ensuring realistic discharge strategies. Compliance & Professionalism: Adheres to ethical standards, maintains confidentiality, punctuality, proper attire, effective communication, and participates in meetings and training. Customer Service & Teamwork: Demonstrates excellent service using AIDET principles, fosters positive interactions, respects patients and colleagues, and supports a collaborative environment. Professional Development: Engages in ongoing education, completes required competencies, and participates in orientation and mandatory activities. Qualifications & Skills Masters or Bachelors in Occupational Therapy. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
