## Job description

Role Overview: An occupational therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to improve patients' daily activities, mobility, cognitive functions, strength, coordination, and range of motion. They collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies, ensuring patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans with input from patients and families. Implement therapy activities, monitor progress, and adjust goals accordingly. Educate patients and families about treatment, discharge instructions, and community resources. Document evaluations, care plans, treatment sessions, and discharge information per departmental guidelines. Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, ethical practices, and confidentiality. Engage in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and team collaboration. Foster a positive, respectful environment and apply customer service principles, including AIDET. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited occupational therapy program with a Bachelor's or Master's degree. Licensed as an Occupational Therapist and certified in Basic Life Support (BLS). Effective communicator with strong customer service orientation, team collaboration skills, and basic computer proficiency. Additional Requirements: Participation in orientation, training, and compliance with hospital policies, infection prevention, and professional standards.
