Role Overview: A physical therapist assesses, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to enhance mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformities in patients with injuries or diseases. The role involves providing quality, cost-effective care across the continuum while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Key Responsibilities Implement and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and input. Educate patients and families on treatment and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate care programs, goals, and discharge plans. Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge information. Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, and punctuality. Provide excellent customer service, fostering teamwork and positive interactions using AIDET principles. Participate in professional development, mandatory education, and staff training. Adhere to organizational policies, safety protocols, and infection prevention measures. Qualifications & Skills Minimum education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Licenses and certifications: Physical Therapist license and BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
