Role Description The Physician Cardiologist will provide full-time, on-site cardiovascular care at Bokhua Memorial Cardiovascular Center in Tbilisi. Responsibilities include performing clinical assessments, diagnosing and managing cardiovascular conditions, interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing individualized treatment plans. The role involves inpatient and outpatient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and participation in case discussions and clinical conferences. The Physician Cardiologist will also oversee appropriate use of interventional and non-invasive procedures, ensure adherence to clinical guidelines, contribute to quality improvement activities, and educate patients and families on cardiovascular risk factors, prevention, and long-term management. Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine with completed medical degree and cardiology residency or equivalent training. Advanced expertise in Cardiology, including prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a broad range of cardiovascular diseases. Competence in Nuclear Medicine applications relevant to cardiology, such as cardiac imaging and functional studies. Skills in Interventional Cardiology for the evaluation and performance of catheter-based diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Clinical experience in Vascular medicine, including assessment and management of peripheral vascular and arterial conditions. Valid medical license (or eligibility) to practice as a cardiologist, with board certification or equivalent recognition preferred. Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication and decision-making skills. Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and patient-centered care, and ongoing professional education. Experience with hospital-based cardiology services and familiarity with evidence-based clinical guidelines. Proficiency in relevant electronic medical record systems and documentation standards.
