They collaborate with physicians to develop and evaluate treatment plans, involving patients and families in goal setting and discharge planning. Key Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop tailored care plans. Implement and adjust physical therapy treatments, providing education and discharge instructions. Document evaluations, care plans, and treatment sessions accurately. Act as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and departmental protocols. Maintain patient confidentiality, uphold ethical standards, and promote diversity and teamwork. Engage in professional development, complete required certifications, and participate in training activities. Deliver excellent customer service using AIDET principles and foster a positive environment. Perform additional duties as assigned, adhering to organizational policies and procedures. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate degree. Valid Physical Therapist license and BLS certification (Instructor and Provisional certifications preferred). Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
