## Job description

Role Overview: Provides evaluation and treatment for patients primarily in Rehab and LTAC hospitals, ensuring comprehensive care aligned with clinical needs. Key Responsibilities Conducts initial and discharge evaluations, develops treatment plans, and documents progress accurately. Implements targeted therapy interventions to achieve functional goals efficiently. Identifies educational needs for patients and staff, providing PRN as necessary. Collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary team and communicates patient progress in clinical conferences. Serves as a clinical instructor or mentor for interns and participates in skills checks and training. Prepares equipment orders, contacts vendors, and coordinates with outside physicians and professionals. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctoral Degree preferred. Minimum of 1 year experience in Rehab, SNF, LTACH, or Acute care settings preferred. Valid BLS certification; GA PT license or eligibility. Basic computer literacy.
