## Job description

Role: Part-time Physical Therapist at Out-Patient Rehab Center. Responsibilities include: Assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity. Providing patient education, revising treatment plans with input from patients and families, and documenting evaluations and care plans according to departmental standards. Collaborating with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment goals, discharge plans, and progress. Acts as a resource for staff, families, and physicians regarding rehabilitation services and equipment. Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining ethical practices. Key skills & qualifications: Doctorate, Masters, or Bachelors in Physical Therapy; valid PT license; BLS certification; effective communication; customer service orientation; teamwork; basic computer skills. Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and commitment to diversity and continuous learning. Additional duties: Participates in professional development, training, and mandatory education. Engages in team meetings, process improvement activities, and ensures safe, efficient use of resources. Fosters a positive, respectful environment and employs service recovery principles to enhance patient experience.
