## Job description

Role: The physical therapist evaluates, plans, and implements rehabilitative programs to enhance mobility, reduce pain, increase strength, and prevent deformities in patients with disease or injury. Services are provided across the continuum, emphasizing quality, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Assess patients collaboratively with physicians, establishing and evaluating treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Implement and modify treatment activities, providing patient and family education, discharge instructions, and community referrals. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans per departmental standards. Maintain ethical practices, confidentiality, punctuality, and professional appearance. Communicate effectively with team members, attend meetings, and contribute to process improvements. Promote positive patient and staff interactions using customer service principles like AIDET. Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and maintain licensure and certifications. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. Licenses and certifications, including BLS and physical therapy credentials, are required upon hire. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
