## Job description

Role Overview: A physical therapist assesses, plans, and participates in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, reduce pain, and prevent deformity in patients with disease or injury. They work across the full continuum of care, ensuring quality, cost-effective, and compliant services. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment plans, goals, and discharge strategies. Implement and adjust therapy interventions, selecting appropriate activities to achieve patient goals. Provide education and training to patients and families, offering discharge instructions and community resource referrals. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and discharge plans in accordance with departmental standards. Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions. Promote a positive environment by fostering teamwork, respect, and excellent customer service. Participate in ongoing professional development, mandatory training, and orientation activities. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program with a Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy. Licensure as a Physical Therapist and BLS certification required. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
