## Job description

Role: Physical Therapy Assistant, collaborating with Physical Therapists to develop and implement programs that restore or improve patient mobility, strength, coordination, and range of motion. Responsibilities Implement treatment plans under therapist guidance and select appropriate activities to meet patient goals. Revise care plans collaboratively, provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and referrals. Document treatment sessions accurately, complete required reports, and ensure compliance with departmental protocols. Maintain ethical standards, confidentiality, punctuality, and proper attire. Communicate effectively with team members, participate in meetings, and promote a positive, respectful environment. Engage in professional development, complete mandatory training, and assist in training new staff. Adhere to safety, infection control, and organizational policies. Qualifications And Skills High School Diploma and Associates Degree in Physical Therapy. Licenses: PTA certification, BLS certification. Effective communication, customer service orientation, teamwork, and basic computer skills.
