PR Business Partner at Transcom (Tbilisi). Deadline 02 October.
02 October Transcom Group is looking for an experienced and proactive PR Business Partner to join the Marketing team and be responsible for developing the company`s and brand`s corporate communications in Georgia. At Transcom Group, we are looking for a communications professional specializing in Media Relations, who will be responsible for all areas of corporate communications, including relationships with Georgian media and social media platforms, special projects, and other communication activities. The key business areas requiring communication support include sellers, customers, pickup points, fintech, logistics, GR, and other areas. Key Responsibilities: 1. Proactively support all of the company`s communications activities in Georgia, including external communications, marketing communications, and SMM; 2. Regularly plan communications, identify interesting newsworthy opportunities within the company, and create relevant content, including press releases and other communication materials; 3. Work closely with business units on current topics and potential problem areas; 4. Handle media inquiries on relevant topics, including crisis-related issues; 5. Prepare key messages and talking points for company spokespeople; 6. Collaborate with industry associations; 7. Develop topics, ideas, and content for international/cross-country special projects; 8. Provide regular reports on communication activities and results. Requirements: ** More than 3 years of experience in PR, preferably within an international company, agency, or media organization; ** Creative thinking, quick response, and a proactive approach to work; ** Experience in crisis communications and handling non-standard situations; ** Willingness to be available 24/7 when necessary and work outside standard business hours; ** Strong copywriting skills and the ability to turn any factual material into interesting, clear, and engaging content; ** Ability to create content for different styles and audiences — from simple and engaging content for a broad audience to professional and business-oriented communications for B2B audiences; ** Strong knowledge of the Georgian media market and an established professional network of journalists; ** Ability to effectively pitch news and stories to the media without a budget; ** Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly identify the right contact and establish effective communication with different types of stakeholders — including journalists, customers, sellers, industry experts, and company spokespeople; ** Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, quickly get up to speed on new topics, and understand key business metrics and processes; ** Fluency in Georgian and Russian, both spoken and written.
