WE ARE HIRING | Pricing & Operations Specialist – Tbilisi, Georgia Logistics Solutions LLC , an international freight forwarding and project logistics company headquartered in Tbilisi, Georgia, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Pricing & Operations Specialist to join our growing team. 📍 Location: Tbilisi, Georgia 💼 Employment: Full-time, Office-based The Role We are looking for a logistics professional with strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills who can effectively manage freight pricing, coordinate international shipments, and ensure reliable and cost-efficient logistics solutions for our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining competitive freight rates, preparing quotations, coordinating shipments from origin to destination, and maintaining high operational and service standards. Key Responsibilities Freight Pricing & Procurement Obtain and negotiate competitive freight rates with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, rail operators, agents, and subcontractors. Prepare accurate and commercially competitive freight quotations for road, sea, air, rail, and multimodal transportation. Analyze transportation costs, routing alternatives, transit times, and operational feasibility. Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, agents, and international logistics partners. Maintain updated freight rate databases and supplier information. Support the sales team with timely quotations, pricing solutions, and technical logistics advice. Identify opportunities for cost optimization and improved shipment profitability. Coordinate with Logistics Solutions Group offices and international partners on cross-border pricing and routing solutions. Freight Operations & Shipment Coordination Plan, organize, and coordinate international shipments from booking to final delivery. Manage daily communication with customers, carriers, agents, customs brokers, and subcontractors. Arrange transportation bookings and coordinate cargo collection, loading, transshipment, customs clearance, and delivery. Prepare and verify transportation documentation, including CMR, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, and other relevant documents. Monitor shipment progress and provide timely updates to customers and internal teams. Resolve operational issues, delays, documentation discrepancies, and unexpected transportation challenges. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, contractual terms, and applicable transportation regulations. Verify supplier invoices, transportation costs, and shipment profitability. Maintain accurate shipment records and operational data in the company's systems. Ensure timely operational closure of shipments and proper handover of documentation to Finance. Candidate Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in international freight forwarding, freight pricing, logistics procurement, or transportation operations. Good understanding of international road, sea, air, rail , and multimodal transportation. Practical experience in obtaining freight rates, preparing quotations, and coordinating international shipments. Familiarity with Incoterms, international transportation documentation, and customs procedures. Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills. Ability to analyze costs, compare transportation options, and prepare commercially competitive offers. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple shipments and pricing requests simultaneously. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively under pressure. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other standard office applications. Experience with freight forwarding software or transport management systems is an advantage. Project cargo or oversized/heavy transport experience is an advantage.
