Key Responsibilities Participate in Quality Control monitoring and ensure accurate patient treatment setup. Assess patients, perform procedures, and provide specialty care considering patient age groups. Document all activities in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR). Educate patients and families on treatment side effects and safety protocols. Maintain radiation safety standards, including proper use of safety badges and universal precautions. Simulate new patients and schedule treatments, ensuring adherence to physician and physicist instructions. Assist with patient mobility, report discrepancies, and participate in daily safety warm-ups. Contribute as a clinical instructor for students and participate in on-call rotations. Qualifications And Skills Associates degree from an accredited program. ARRT-T Radiation Therapy certification and BLS certification required upon hire. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Radiation Therapy preferred. Ability to treat and simulate patients accurately.
