Vacancy: Procurement Specialist Aromaproduct / Georgia’s Natural is pleased to announce a vacancy for the position of Domestic and International Procurement Specialist. Work location: 17M Guramishvili Avenue, Tbilisi Working hours: 09:30–18:30 Days off: Saturday and Sunday Salary: Negotiable, based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience Key Duties and Responsibilities Receive, clarify, and process procurement requests submitted by the company’s departments and business units; Identify domestic and international suppliers, conduct market research, and source alternative supply options; Conduct price research, obtain commercial quotations, and prepare comparative analyses; Select suppliers based on price, quality, delivery lead time, payment terms, and reliability; Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with suppliers; Procure raw materials, auxiliary and packaging materials, technical spare parts, production supplies, office supplies, and services; Coordinate the preparation and approval of purchase orders, contracts, invoices, pro forma invoices, and other procurement documentation; Manage international orders and import processes, including communication with foreign suppliers, order placement, and monitoring of production and transportation lead times; Participate in determining the most efficient transportation method and related costs in accordance with applicable Incoterms rules; Ensure the complete and accurate receipt and processing of transportation and customs documentation required for imports; Monitor order fulfilment from placement through final delivery; Cooperate with production and warehouse teams to monitor inventory levels and plan procurement in advance, preventing shortages and excess stock; Request product specifications, quality certificates, certificates of origin, and documentation related to organic production, and coordinate these matters with the relevant departments; Manage supplier claims, replacements, and corrective actions in cases of delayed, damaged, or non-conforming goods; Maintain the supplier database, periodically evaluate supplier performance, and continuously develop a pool of alternative suppliers; Prepare periodic reports on procurement budgets, price changes, savings achieved, and order statuses; Ensure compliance with the company’s procurement procedures, approval policies, and confidentiality requirements. Qualification Requirements A university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics, or a related field will be considered an advantage; At least two years of professional experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply management; Knowledge of domestic procurement and import processes; Experience working and conducting business correspondence with international suppliers; Knowledge of Incoterms rules and key import documentation; English and Russian language proficiency at B2 level or above; Good command of Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel; Experience working with ERP or accounting software will be considered an advantage; Procurement experience in the manufacturing, food, or FMCG sector will be considered an advantage. Personal Competencies Strong negotiation and effective communication skills; Analytical thinking and attention to detail; Effective time-management and prioritisation skills; Responsibility, strong organisational skills, and a results-oriented approach; Ability to manage multiple procurement processes simultaneously; Ability to make timely and effective decisions in challenging situations.
