They oversee team members, handle shift scheduling, and serve as the bridge between management and floor workers. Core Responsibilities Production Oversight: Coordinate workflow, assign daily tasks, and execute manufacturing schedules to meet output quotas. Quality Assurance: Conduct product inspections, perform line clearances, and complete necessary quality checklists. Team Leadership & Training: Train new hires, coach staff on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), execute performance evaluations, and manage shift schedules. Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety protocols, ensure team members wear appropriate protective gear, and maintain a clean work environment compliant with GMP and ISO standards Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot machinery (Pac Mac Baggers), assist supporting departments (Engineering, Maintenance) with downtime, and resolve team conflicts Key Qualifications Experience: 2+ years of prior experience in a production, industrial, or manufacturing environment. Poultry processing experience is highly preferred Hard Skills: Technical expertise in operating production machinery, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and knowledge of lean manufacturing and project management methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal communication, strong conflict resolution, organizational skills, and the ability to motivate a team. Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test and background check are required.
