🚀 Project Manager for a fintech project (remote)
We do not consider candidates from Russia.
Velmie is looking for an experienced Project Manager to work on a fintech project. Part-time (project-based work).
Pay: $20–23/hour (gross).
📋 Your responsibilities:
-Managing and maintaining the project plan, including sprints, tasks, dependencies, and deadlines
-Understanding business needs, analyzing use cases and development requirements
-Proactive approach: clarifying details to fully understand requirements
-Professionally representing Velmie's interests in client meetings
-Coordinating the work of various company departments, maintaining communication with developers
-Identifying risks and timeline issues, proposing corrective measures
-Assisting in creating and updating project documentation
🔍 Who we're looking for:
-Experience working on fintech projects or digital banking projects — REQUIRED
-Basic understanding of the development process
-Knowledge of Agile methodologies and sprint planning principles
-Understanding of software development processes: frontend, backend, API, sprints, user stories
-Basic understanding of financial systems (KYC, KYB, wallets, cards, compliance)
-English level C1 (fluent in spoken and written communication)
-Professionalism in client communication
-Willingness to ask questions, learn quickly, and adapt to new information
-Ability to organize work and prioritize when handling multiple tasks
-Experience with Jira (preferred)
