QA Manual Tester

Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Manual Tester to join our product team at Twinit. In this role, you will focus on testing Atlassian Marketplace applications (Jira and Confluence apps) developed by our company. You will be responsible for verifying product functionality, usability, and performance to ensure reliable, bug-free releases. Working closely with developers, product managers, and support teams, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality solutions to our growing customer base. Key Responsibilities: Design, document, and execute test cases for Atlassian Marketplace apps (Jira, Jira Service Management, and Confluence). Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing for new features and updates. Identify, record, and track bugs in Jira with clear documentation and reproduction steps. Validate compatibility of apps across multiple versions of Jira/Confluence (Cloud/Data Center). Collaborate with developers to resolve issues and improve application quality. Provide feedback on UX/UI elements from a usability and user-experience perspective. Review functional specifications and contribute to product quality planning. Participate in release readiness reviews and ensure applications meet Atlassian Marketplace standards. Maintain and update test documentation such as test plans, checklists, and reports. Required Qualifications: Strong technical background with a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Experience in manual testing of web applications or SaaS products. Good understanding of QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Hands-on experience with Jira (as a user or QA). Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira Software, Confluence, JSM). Ability to write clear and concise test documentation. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Fluency in English (written and spoken). Preferred Qualifications Experience testing Atlassian Marketplace apps or working with Atlassian environments. Understanding of Jira configurations, workflows, permissions, and custom fields. Familiarity with REST APIs, automation rules, or JSON/YAML structures. Basic knowledge of Playwright, including Playwright CLI, is a plus. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Familiarity with test management tools such as Xray or Zephyr is a plus.
