Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a QA Manual Tester. The QA Manual Tester is responsible for reviewing requirements, creating clear and comprehensive test cases, and executing manual tests across web and mobile applications. Day-to-day tasks include identifying defects, documenting findings with precise reproduction steps, and collaborating with product, development, and design teams to clarify issues and verify fixes. The person in this role will validate new features, perform regression testing before releases, and help maintain consistent quality standards and testing documentation. The QA Manual Tester also contributes to process improvements by providing feedback on test coverage, usability, and product reliability. Qualifications Strong Quality Assurance and Manual Testing skills, including the ability to validate functionality against requirements. Experience in Test Execution and writing structured Test Cases to cover functional and regression scenarios. Well-developed Analytical Skills for identifying edge cases, diagnosing defects, and prioritizing issues. Attention to detail and ability to create clear, concise, and reproducible bug reports using standard tracking tools. Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Comfort working independently in a remote environment, managing workload, and meeting deadlines. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Prior experience in testing web or mobile applications; experience with basic test management or issue tracking tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail) is beneficial.
