QA Developer Automation, AI-Driven Testing, Blockchain & Payments I. Role Summary & Mission Location: Remote Role Overview We are seeking a meticulous and proactive QA Developer with strong expertise in modern test automation and a growing focus on blockchain/Web3 application testing , alongside solid grounding in payments and fintech systems more broadly (credit card processing, open banking, transaction flows). This role requires hands-on experience with automation frameworks like Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress, and increasingly, AI-assisted testing tools and practices. Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android) is valued but secondary to automation, blockchain, and payments-related QA skills. II. Key Responsibilities Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress, incorporating AI-assisted test generation, self-healing test frameworks, and intelligent test maintenance tools to reduce flakiness and manual upkeep. Design and execute test strategies for blockchain-based features, including smart contract behavior, wallet integrations, transaction flows, and on-chain/off-chain data consistency. Test payment flows across multiple rails, including credit card processing (authorization, capture, refunds, chargebacks) and open banking integrations (account linking, PSD2/consent flows, payment initiation). Validate fintech-specific concerns across all payment types: reconciliation accuracy, idempotency, retries/timeouts, currency/rounding edge cases, failure/error handling. Use AI-powered tools for test case generation, exploratory testing assistance, log/anomaly analysis, and visual regression testing (e.g., AI-based visual diffing tools). Perform manual and automated testing of web applications, with secondary responsibility for mobile application testing (iOS and Android) as needed. Collaborate with development and product teams to understand blockchain, payments, and fintech product features and requirements. Utilize the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) for tracking and documentation. Manage test cases and plans using Zephyr. Use Postman for API testing (blockchain node/RPC endpoints, payment gateway and open banking APIs) and Grafana for monitoring application and infrastructure performance. Leverage browser Dev Tools for debugging and identifying issues, including wallet connections, signing flows, and payment checkout flows. Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AI-driven QA tools and practices into the team's testing framework. Conduct compatibility and usability testing across different devices and platforms, with a secondary focus on mobile. III. Required Qualifications Proven experience as a QA Developer or similar role, with a strong focus on test automation. Proficiency in one or more automation tools: Playwright (preferred), Selenium, or Cypress. Experience or strong interest in testing blockchain/Web3 applications (smart contracts, wallets, transaction flows, on-chain data). General fintech/payments testing experience — e.g., credit card processing, open banking, or other payment rails — is valued even without blockchain-specific background. Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and approaches (e.g., AI-generated test cases, self-healing locators, AI-driven visual/log analysis). Strong experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence) and Zephyr. Familiarity with API testing using Postman, including payment gateway, open banking, and/or blockchain node/RPC endpoints. Experience with performance monitoring tools like Grafana. Solid understanding of browser Dev Tools for debugging and performance profiling. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, especially around financial/transactional correctness. IV. Why Join us?
