We are strengthening our product team and looking for a QA professional who is not afraid of ambitious goals and wants to grow alongside the company. Our products include Tending (client subscription app), Grave Tender (grave maintenance), Bezikaron (Israeli market, RTL, Hebrew), Aftercare (public memorial search), and the AFS Platform (B2B multi-tenant admin/billing). We are scaling rapidly through a mix of traditional development and high-speed "vibe-coding" (Lovable/Rork). We need a QA professional who can act as the last line of defense before production. Why We Are Hiring Our current single QA engineer is at full capacity. With the pace of development increasing, we need a "Universal Soldier"—a mix of Manual QA, Automation Architect (Playwright), and Process Organizer. You will be the bridge between developers and managers. This role offers a possible track to lead the QA direction, mentoring the existing QA engineer. Key Challenge We are not looking for a "button-clicker." We need a System Thinker . We have 22 mobile store listings, 13 microservices, complex Stripe/payment integrations, and multi-database synchronizations. The hardest bugs to catch are at the intersections (order statuses, payments, sync scripts). We need someone who hunts those cross-system bugs proactively. What You Will Do Manual & Regression: Test web, iOS, and Android applications, managing a complex white-label matrix (1 feature x N cemetery configurations). Automation: Build and maintain the automation framework from scratch (Playwright for Web, API testing; future-proofing for mobile automation). Cross-System Testing: Validate money flows, order statuses, and sync scripts across 4+ services (e.g., Deal → Work Order → Contractor App → Client Report). Vibe-Coding QA: Rapidly validate AI-generated code (Lovable/Rork) before it hits production, creating smoke suites on the fly. Process Organization: Build test plans, regression checklists, and release checklists. Prioritize bugs and define "Definition of Done" with stakeholders. Mediation: Translate manager expectations into testable criteria and developer excuses into business risks. Leadership (Potential): Split work with the current QA, mentor them, and hire additional staff as we grow. Must-Have Requirements 4+ years in QA, with experience as the sole/lead QA managing multiple products simultaneously. Manual: Deep experience with web and mobile (iOS/Android) regression and exploratory testing. Automation: Playwright (or Cypress with a willingness to switch) – capable of setting up the framework from scratch, not just writing tests. API & SQL: Strong API testing (Postman), log reading, and basic SQL to verify backend states. Payments: Experience testing payment flows (Stripe preferred): subscriptions, recurring charges, refunds, and webhooks. Systemic Mindset: Proven ability to catch integration/sync bugs (data discrepancies between systems). Languages: English (B2+ - working proficiency) and Russian (Fluent).
