Responsibilities Operate radiation equipment safely and accurately, performing complex technical procedures. Participate in quality control monitoring and ensure precise treatment delivery. Assess patients, perform procedures, and provide specialty care considering patient age groups. Document properly in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and report adverse reactions immediately. Educate patients and families on treatment side effects and assist with patient setup and simulation. Follow safety protocols, wear radiation badges, and practice universal precautions. Assist with patient mobility, participate in warm-up procedures, and communicate any discrepancies or equipment issues. Contribute as a clinical instructor for students and participate in on-call rotations. Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and codes of conduct. Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent from an accredited program. ARRT-T Radiation Therapy certification and BLS certification required upon hire. Minimum of 2 years of radiation therapy experience preferred.
