Key Responsibilities Operate radiation-producing equipment safely, adhering to radiation safety measures. Participate in Quality Control monitoring and ensure treatment accuracy. Perform patient assessments, procedures, and provide specialty care tailored to patient age groups. Accurately document in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and simulate patient setups without errors. Educate patients and families on treatment side effects and use of treatment aids. Follow safety protocols, including proper patient mobility assessment, wearing radiation badges, and practicing universal precautions. Assist with patient scheduling, manage treatment preparations, and report discrepancies or equipment issues. Participate in on-call rotations and act as a clinical instructor for students, providing evaluations and feedback. Qualifications & Skills Associates degree or equivalent from an accredited program. ARRT-T (Radiation Therapy) certification and BLS certification required upon hire. Minimum of 2 years radiation therapy experience preferred. Ability to treat and simulate patients accurately and effectively.
