## Job description

Role Overview: The RN - Acute Care - Cardiac Telemetry provides high-quality, patient-centered care within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring safety and excellence in clinical practice. They practice in an environment guided by evidence-based standards, professional models, and organizational policies, upholding ethical and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation tailored to individual patient needs. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care, engaging patients and families through effective communication and education. Coordinate and document safe, quality care while promoting teamwork, interdisciplinary collaboration, and a respectful clinical environment. Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives, supporting system protocols and quality outcomes. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster workforce development and uphold professional standards. Contribute to resource planning, protocol development, and process improvements to enhance patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Associate or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's preferred. Active RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and teamwork skills. Proficiency in clinical technology, documentation, and responsiveness in fast-paced settings. Additional Requirements: Commitment to ongoing professional development, adherence to safety standards, and participation in performance improvement activities.
