## Job description

Role Overview: The RN Clinical Nurse is an integral part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care. They practice under the guidance of Nurse Managers and adhere to evidence-based standards aligned with professional nursing practice acts and ethical codes. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices. Provide relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to individual patient needs and preferences. Partner with patients and families through effective communication, education, and shared decision-making. Coordinate and document safe care delivery, promoting a respectful, inclusive environment. Participate in performance improvement, research, and shared governance initiatives to enhance patient safety and care quality. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to foster a skilled nursing workforce and support professional development. Engage in data collection, clinical inquiry, and resource development to optimize patient outcomes. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing; licensure as an RN (single-state or multi-state compact). Minimum of 5 years of RN experience in direct patient care. Current BLS certification; strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and technology skills. Ability to function effectively in fast-paced, emergency situations with professionalism and respect. Additional Expectations: Uphold organizational policies, participate in ongoing education, and support resource-efficient practices to ensure optimal patient outcomes and a positive work environment.
