## Job description

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) in this role provides high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team in an acute MedSurg setting. Key Responsibilities Ensure individualized patient care by collaborating with licensed and unlicensed care team members. Adhere to standards set by Nurse Managers, the WellStar Shared Governance Model, and the Professional Practice Model. Uphold the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and system policies to support service excellence. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current Georgia RN licensure or privilege under eNLC. Valid BLS certification from the American Heart Association. Experience with direct patient care; national certification in specialty is a plus. Strong communication, computer, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, respond to emergencies, and manage time effectively.
