## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) - Acute Care, MedSurg (FT Nights) Responsibilities: Provide high-quality, individualized patient care within an interdisciplinary team, utilizing evidence-based practices and critical thinking. Partner with patients and families to ensure safe, patient-centered care, respecting cultural diversity. Collaborate with team members through effective communication, documentation, and participation in performance improvement initiatives. Support professional growth by mentoring colleagues, engaging in research, and maintaining clinical competencies. Develop protocols to improve patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Proactively plan patient care across the continuum and contribute to a respectful, inclusive environment. Qualifications & Skills Associates or Diploma in Nursing (Bachelors preferred) Current RN license (single-state or multi-state compact) BLS certification required at hire Less than 1 year of clinical experience or completion of accredited nursing program Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills Proficiency in technology and basic computer skills Ability to respond decisively in fast-paced environments with critical thinking and time management skills Core Duties: Perform nursing processes including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care. Document accurately and promote teamwork. Support evidence-based practice and quality improvement efforts. Participate in resource management and protocol development. Adhere to organizational policies, standards, and ethical guidelines.
