## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care - MedSurg, providing high-quality, safe, patient-centered care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practices. Deliver relationship-based, culturally sensitive care tailored to patient needs and conditions. Partner with patients and families through effective communication and education, ensuring patient goals are prioritized. Coordinate and document safe, quality care promoting collaboration across healthcare teams. Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Support resource development, protocol creation, and efficient utilization of materials and personnel. Serve as a preceptor or mentor, fostering professional growth and a healthy work environment. Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including safety and quality goals. Qualifications & Skills Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). Current RN license (single or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required. Less than 1 year of clinical experience or completion of accredited nursing program. Strong communication, critical thinking, time management, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in technology and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Key Duties: Providing compassionate, evidence-based nursing care, fostering teamwork, supporting professional development, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards to enhance patient outcomes.
