## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, working full-time night shifts. Responsibilities Provide individualized, high-quality, safe patient care within an interdisciplinary team, practicing evidence-based nursing aligned with organizational standards and ethical guidelines. Perform the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using critical thinking to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Deliver relationship-based, patient-centered care tailored to diverse populations, fostering effective communication with patients and families. Coordinate care through interdisciplinary collaboration, documentation, and participation in performance improvement and research activities. Support professional development by completing competency assessments, mentoring colleagues, and advocating for evidence-based practices. Contribute to resource planning, protocol development, and system-wide safety and quality initiatives. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Active RN licensure (single or multi-state), BLS certification, and relevant certifications upon hire. Strong interpersonal, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills. Proficiency in clinical technology and basic computer skills; ability to respond effectively in fast-paced environments.
