## Job description

Role: Registered Nurse (RN) in Acute Care Ortho Surgical, providing high-quality, patient-centered care within a collaborative interdisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities Perform nursing processes—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices. Deliver individualized, relationship-based care that respects cultural diversity and involves patients and their families. Ensure safe, effective, and coordinated care through effective communication, documentation, and collaboration. Participate in performance improvement, research, and evidence-based practice initiatives. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to promote a skilled nursing workforce and a healthy work environment. Support resource management, protocol development, and quality outcomes such as reducing readmissions and adverse events. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience. Current RN license (single state or multi-state compact) and BLS certification required at hire. Associates or Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor’s preferred. Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, time management, and computer skills. Ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment and respond to emergencies professionally. Additional Requirements: Commitment to professional development, adherence to ethical standards, and active participation in quality and safety initiatives.
